Alexa for Business is a service that enables organizations and employees to use Alexa to get more work done. With Alexa for Business, employees can use Alexa as their intelligent assistant to be more productive in meeting rooms, at their desks, and even with the Alexa devices they already have at home.

Polycom Trio and Alexa for Business
Polycom Trio is certified as an Alexa device, which means that it can work as a standalone device with AVS (Alexa Voice Services) and Alexa for Business. No other component or device is required in the room. In addition, its echo cancellation technology prevents Alexa from “waking up” when Alexa is used during a conference by a remote party.
The following prerequisites allow you to enable Polycom Trio for Alexa for Business:
- Polycom Trio endpoints with version 5.9.0 or greater
- A Polycom Cloud Services (PCS) account
- An AWS account with proper administrator permissions
