Welcome to the Polycom Unified Communications (UC) Software Support Center. This is your single source for currently supported Polycom UC Software, BootROM releases, associated utilities, supporting documentation, and other information you need to maintain, support, and enhance your Polycom products.
For complete information on the most recent Polycom UC Software release, see Latest Polycom UC Software Release. If you want to use previous supported or unsupported software releases with your Polycom phones, you can find out which software versions are compatible with your phones using the Polycom ® UC Software/Polycom SIP Software Release Matrix. For all other previously released Polycom UC Software versions, consult the Previous VoIP Software archive.
If you are currently using a version of software earlier than UCS 3.3.0 and are considering an upgrade to a more recent UC software version, be aware that enhancements to more recent software releases—the configuration files, their parameters and values—may not be backward compatible. Before downloading and installing more recent software, Polycom strongly recommends that you first read about changes to later software versions in the Polycom UC Software 3.3.0 Administrators’ Guide.
Polycom follows industry standard practices regarding support of software for discontinued End of Life (EOL) products. Polycom supports software for the most current version and one previous major version OR two years after the release – whichever comes first. For reference, see the Polycom End of Life (EOL) Support Policy.
Before you can successfully install UC Software 4.0.x to phones running a UCS version prior to 4.0.0, you will need to perform an upgrade using the Polycom Upgrader 4.4.0B Utility. If you want to download and install Polycom UC Software version 4.0.0 or higher, Polycom strongly recommends that you review the changes to the upgrade procedures detailed in the Polycom UC Software 4.0.0 Administrators’ Guide and in Polycom UC Software 4.0.x Upgrade and Downgrade Methods (Engineering Advisory 64731).
